More Christmas Pageant Rehearsals!

In the top pic, our new Christmas Pageant choir is busy at rehearsals.  In the bottom photo, worship dancers began learning their moves as well.  (Check out that cool new stage! Bubba and company did a great job! Thanks guys!)

Christmas Pageant Construction!

What excitement is now at KEC! As the big truck delivered the lumber and supplies to the church this morning, faithful workers met the challenge this presented. Pictured above are Roy, Chris and Pastor Bob (Bubba took the pic!) Although they have worked so hard on constructing the stage and sets for THE REASON, our upcoming Christmas Pageant, they have had a wonderful time sharing in the fellowship with which God has blessed in abundance. May all of our work and each facet of this program honour Him and lift high the name of JESUS!!!

Wow! They say that you can experience all four seasons in one day here in England.  We believe it! This morning the sun was shining and I actually went outside with a short-sleeved t-shirt and bare feet!  By this afternoon, however, this was the scene from our bedroom window and in front of our home looking down the street!  These were actually the LARGEST snowflakes we have EVER seen! Burrrrrr!

EMPOWER! Blessings

How blessed we are at EMPOWER! ministries! We are having a blast as we learn more about God and His love for us! We continue to grow in numbers and excitement. Praise the Lord!

It was such a blessing to have our home- and sending- church pastor, Dr Sam Shaw and his lovely wife, Ruthe, over for a visit last week.  We are so thankful for the wonderful fellowship, and pray that more members of Hope will get to come join us in God's work here in the UK!

NEW CHILDREN'S CHOIR

Please pray for our upcoming children's choir. This will meet on Mondays from 5:15 until 6 pm.  It is for ages 5 through 12.  Bring any children you know who are interested to Kingshurst Evangelical Church at the corner of Cooks Lane and Forth Drive.  See you Monday!

EMPOWER!!!

Praise God for a wonderful first night of EMPOWER!  This is our ministy for 10 thru 14 yr olds on Monday nights.  We had a good number and a GREAT group! They were really wonderfully behaved, interested and asked some sincerely intriguing questions! We are ready to see them back this coming Monday!
